At 7:00 PM on July 2, 2024, HONOR hosted its highly anticipated launch event in Shenzhen, unveiling the HONOR Magic V5, its newest foldable flagship, under the theme “Beyond Imagination, More Powerful,” alongside a suite of AI-powered ecosystem devices.
The Magic V5 redefines what’s possible in foldable design. It boasts the world’s thinnest foldable form factor — just 4.1mm when unfolded and weighing only 217g, making it incredibly light and pocketable. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Leading Edition and offering up to 16GB RAM + 1TB storage, it delivers top-tier performance.
Display-wise, it features a 7.95" 2K inner screen and a 6.43" outer screen, both with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness, plus 4320Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort. On the camera front, the device is equipped with a triple-lens system including a periscope telephoto supporting 3x optical zoom and OIS for versatile photography.
AI is a major highlight, with the new YOYO AI assistant offering intelligent device collaboration, AI content creation, and smart productivity tools — driving HONOR’s vision for a seamless AI-powered ecosystem.
