On August 28, Xiaomi officially launched its new operating system, HyperOS 3, aiming to redefine user experience with a series of significant upgrades.
In performance, under-the-hood instruction-level optimization cuts system commands, boosting energy efficiency for faster responsiveness and lower gaming power consumption. For interaction, the new "Super Island" feature supports displaying 3 apps simultaneously with seamless switching and one-tap floating windows, plus revamped desktop icons, status bars and 100+ scenario animations for smoother transitions.
AI capabilities are fully enhanced: System-level AI auto-tracks logistics via courier numbers and jumps to navigation with addresses. Super XiaoAI offers multiple quick access ways, provides proactive suggestions and completes complex tasks like "opening Alipay medical insurance code"—it will cover 80 apps and 1,000 operations by late September.
Industry analysts note HyperOS 3 strengthens Xiaomi’s edge in user experience, winning more favor in the competitive smart device market.
